OREANDA-NEWS  On 26 February was announced, that Yulia Tymoshenko, Prime Minister of Ukraine, urges on Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine to timely response to the facts of layoffs on private enterprises and take measures, envisaged by the legislation. The Head of Government announced at a Gov’t session.

“The Prosecutor General’s Office should demonstrate its activity, whether it is capable to draw to account everyone who violates the legislation and don’t pay all the compulsory payments,” the Prime Minister stressed.

Yulia Tymoshenko added the Government, employers, trade union and Prosecutor General’s Office ought to act in synergy in the issues of protecting their people in hard crisis times.

Moreover, Yulia Tymoshenko accentuated the Government hasn’t afforded any dismissals in the budget sphere and ensures timely payment of salaries.

“It is not understandable why the real economic sector, such vaunted private owners, boasting they could administrate effectively, they could keep their enterprises competitive, are shortening their staff nowadays, cutting wages, sending employees to unpaid vacations,” the Head of Government stressed.
