On 10 March 2009 was announced, that SITRONICS Information Technologies, one of the leading suppliers of solutions, products and services in the field of information technologies working in CIS countries and Eastern Europe completed modernization project of IT-infrastructure for OJSC MARINE TRANSPORT BANK.

In the course of the project employees of SITRONICS Information Technologies together with bank specialists performed complete complex of works on projecting and implementation of fail-safe platform for Temenos T24 system that supports a number of functions on operating activity of the bank.

”Purpose of modernization project of IT-infrastructure of the bank was building of system that ensures protection of data critical for business and also its operative recovery in case of hardware failure or errors during development. Complex is based on server systems of new generation with IBM Power6 processor that is currently the most productive RISC-processor. Platform was built according to principle of absence of unreserved destruction points including processors and is stable to aliquant destructions of hardware components including processors, main memory, service-processor, mother boards. Created system is highly scalable. If necessary computational power can be duplicated and volume of available disk can be multiplied by 5.

“Created fail-safe platform complies with requirements made by customers and National Bank of Ukraine concerning fail-safety and reliability.
