OREANDA-NEWS. March 10, 2009. Atomenergoprom OJSC is taking part in Atomexpo Belarus 2009 international specialized exhibition, which is taking place in Minsk Mar 10–13 2009. The event has been organized by the Ministry of Energy of Belarus and the National Academy of Sciences with the support of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation and Atomenergoprom OJSC.

The key objectives of the exhibition is to present the most advanced technologies in the field of engineering, construction and safe operation of nuclear power plants and to stimulate scientific research ad training of specialists in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy in Belarus.

The Russian exposition covers an area of over 300 sq m: 40 organizations of Russia’s nuclear and related industries have presented their high-tech solutions and products.

Atomenergoprom’s exposition presents the whole spectrum of Russia’s capacities in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy: from uranium mining to fuel production and turnkey construction of nuclear power plants, personnel training and introduction of advanced environment protection systems.

The main sections of the Russian exposition are engineering, construction and operation of nuclear power plants, nuclear fuel cycle, equipment for nuclear power plants, innovative products for nuclear industry.

Atomenergoprom’s subsidiaries – TVEL OJSC, Techsnabexport OJSC, Gidropress Experimental Design Bureau, Atomenergoproekt OJSC (Moscow) and Atomenergoproekt (St.Petersburg) – are presenting their export capacities, advanced technologies and high tech production.

During the scientific-practical conference “Development Prospects of Nuclear Power Engineering in the Republic of Belarus” representatives of Atomenergoprom’s subsidiaries will make reports on the aspects of NPP-2006 project, the safety of nuclear power plants, production of high-tech equipment and use of modern technologies.
