OREANDA-NEWS. On March 11, 2009 The Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko urged special fund of the State Budget doesn’t receive additional UAH 10 bn for providing administrative services by the state-owned enterprises. She disclosed on opening of today’s sitting of the Government.

According to the Premier, analysis of the situation with rendering administrative services has demonstrated such services are provided mostly not by budget institutions or ministries, but by specially founded state-owned enterprises over one thousand in number for now. “We have found out that administrative services rendered according to the laws, including normative acts issued by the Government in most of cases are provided not by budget institutions, not directly by ministries, but by specially founded state-owned enterprises while the money paid for those administrative services doesn’t flow to the special part of the state budget,” Yulia Tymoshenko noted.

The Prime Minister is convinced all these facts appear the evidence of corruption, abuses and improper monitoring of funds received from state administrative services. “Actually, these resources are dispersed instead of filling the State Budget. Such funds, undoubtedly, ought to serve the society and, undoubtedly, the amounts and areas of these services ought to be cut in order to mitigate the burden on entrepreneurship and citizens of Ukraine from the side of the bureaucratic machinery,” the PM urged.
