OREANDA-NEWS. March 12, 2009. Cardholders of the Moscow Pledge Bank (MPB) now can have their plastic cards re-issued on the terms currently in force at the Bank of Moscow.

The Bank of Moscow issues Visa and Master Card plastic cards, social cards, and cards with an option to pay subway fares on a non-cash basis. The Bank of Moscow has its own Processing Centre that processes its own plastic cards issued under the Bank of Moscow programs. The Processing Centre obtained certification with Visa International and Master Card and has a wide automated banking machine network (1,800 ATMs).

The Bank of Moscow began providing services to the Moscow Pledge Bank customers as of January 21, 2009. Under a contract made between the Bank of Moscow and the State Deposit Insurance Agency, the Bank of Moscow started providing banking services to all individual customers who entered into bank deposit and bank account contracts. The terms and conditions of the service provision, including the interest rates and the duration of deposit contracts have been retained by the Bank of Moscow.
