OREANDA-NEWS. 12 March, 2009 in “AZEL” Company’s office located at the R.Behbudov street, 71 meeting of the SABIT program alumni and seminar on IT technologies was held. Meeting was organized by the U.S. Embassy in the Ukraine under support of “AZEL” Company.   Participants of the meeting were SABIT program alumni and representatives of U.S. and local companies.  The Special American Business Internship Training (SABIT) program was developed in 1990 by the International Trade Administration U.S. Department of Commerce with the purpose to build partnerships and provide technical assistance by training Eurasian business leaders in U.S. business practices. These training programs directly support Eurasian economic and civil society development by encouraging market-based reforms, while generating valuable export and investment opportunities for U.S. industry.

Seminar was opened by Sergey Sviderski, Regional Coordinator, WNIS/Caucasus

SABIT/US FCS/US Embassy. He welcomed participants and expressed it’s thanks to AZEL Company for support in meeting organization.

After that the floor was given to Igor Yakovenko, Chairman of Supervisory Board, AZEL and Chairman of IT Committee at the AmCham, Azerbaijan. He noted “that participation of local entrepreneurs in SABIT program has a great importance for economical development of Azerbaijan Republic as programs’ alumni could apply obtained knowledge and experience in business practice. The program helps to establish and strengthen business relationships between Azerbaijani and U.S. companies as well".   

At the meeting “Lazer” PC with LCD-monitor was donated to the AAA, Azerbaijan USG Alumni Association on behalf of "AZEL".   Jeyhun Karamov – head of AAA Association expressed its thanks to “AZEL” company’s management for extended support and computer and stressed importance of such meetings for U.S. programs’ alumni.

After official part Vadim Yakovlev, specialist on CRM/ERP systems has made presentation on CRM/ERP systems and their implementation on business practice.
