OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 March 2009 was announced, that while preparations for the 2009 heating season were underway at TGC-1’s facilities, fuel reserves were set that would guarantee stable and uninterrupted electric service. As of the start of March 2009, fuel oil reserves at the Nevsky Branch’s CHPP were 189,000 tons, whereas planned reserves were for 115,000 tons, and there was 188,400 tons of coal.

Fuel oil reserves at Petrozavodskaya CHPP (Karelsky Branch) and Apatiskaya CHPP (Kolsky Branch) come to 18,000 tons, whereas projections stipulate reserves of only 7,000 tonnes.
