OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 March 2009 was announced, that a new adult clinic is to be raised in southeastern Moscow by the end of 2010, then two clinics for children will be under construction.

“The plan for development of healthcare agencies within southeastern Moscow provides for building several clinics for adults and children,” Validimir Zotov, prefect of the southeastern administrative district of Moscow, said.

According to the official, the clinic estimated to serve 750 patients per day is to be completed in Pechatniki township by the end of 2010, so is a pathologicoanatomic department of municipal clinical hospital No 13 in Yuzhnoportovyy township.

Besides, this year the municipal authorities are to start working on the building documents for developing two healthcare agencies for children.

A new building will be added to dental clinic No 25 located in Kuzminki township. A children’s unit of clinic No 2 will be erected in Tekstilshchiki township.

Mr Zotov added that maternity hospitals No 8 and No 15 would undergo a current maintenance in 2009, a facade and a roof of maternity hospital No 18 would be renewed simultaneously with its maintenance.

More than 680,000 residents of southeastern Moscow will undergo a prophylactic medical examination in 2009. Due to the separate program aimed at taking a health checkup of the veterans and physically challenged participants of the Great Patriotic War, more than 4,000 senior citizens will be examined this year.
