OREANDA-NEWS. On March 23, 2009 TNK-BP announced a number of senior appointments in the company’s management, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP. 

Jonathan Muir has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of TNK-BP. He has been acting CFO of TNK-BP since August, 2008, and combined that role with the responsibilities of Chief Auditor of the company. Jonathan Muir has been with TNK-BP since its inception in 2003 as Vice President, Financial Control, and made a leading contribution in establishing TNK-BP’s corporate governance framework.

Didier Baudrand has been appointed Executive Vice President Downstream and Executive Director of TNK-BP. Didier Baudrand is joining the company from BP where he enjoyed a long and successful career at BP locations in France, the UK and China, specializing in refining, marketing and petrochemicals. Until recently he held the position of Senior Vice President, BP Refining and Marketing Special Projects, and before that served as Chairman of SECCO, a 50/50 joint venture between BP and Sinopec and BP’s biggest investment in China.

The two appointments take effect immediately.
