OREANDA-NEWS. March 24, 2009. State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ and the Energyand Gas Company ENEKO entered into a Credit Agreement on Providing Financing worth 770 million rubles for a period of 10 years.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Agreement was signed by Management Board Member, Vnesheconombank Deputy Chairman Anatoly Ballo, on behalf of EK ENEKO - by its General Director Alexei Fedoseev.

The funds are intended for financing the investment project “Development of Power Engineering of the Sverdlovsk Region’s Municipal Entities Housing and Communal Complexes” to be implemented on the principles of public private partnership.

This Project aims, for the most part, to make energy supplies more reliable and provide high-quality services to secure energy conservation in the Sverdlovsk’s region municipal entities.

The Agreement signed provides for EK ENKO’s participation in implementing the program of capital investments in building heat-supplying facilities (223 boiler houses, 14 co-generation installations and introduction of 283 automated energy resources commercial accounting systems on the territory of the Sverdlovsk region.

The Agreement was signed to build on the Memorandum on Cooperation in Implementing Power Engineering Projects in the Sverdlovsk region concluded in December 2007 between Vnesheconombank, the Government of the Sverdlovsk region, the Oil and Gas Company ITERA and the Energy and Gas Company ENEKO.
