On 24 March 2009 was announced, that JSC UTair Aviation continues to expand its routing network and is openings a new return regular flight Tumjen-Moscow-Salekhard within the framework of spring-summer navigation. The first flight on this new direction will be performed on May, 30 in 2009.

  Salekhard is an administrative capital of Yamal-Nenetskiy Autonomous Region and has a great potential as a city of business tourism. Tyumen, in its turn, is a starting point in a number of inner flights. The flight connecting two regions of the country, will be performed thrice a week for the comfort of the passengers. The route is maintained by a short-haul airliner produced by a European concern ATR-42.
