OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 March 2009 was announced, that the volume of housing development, including the social homes, in western Moscow is to be twice as much in 2009 as last year.

Over a million square metres of housing, including 308,500 square metres of social homes, are to be commissioned in Moscow’s western administrative district this year.

As a reminder, the volume of living area developed in the district last year totaled 552,400 square metres, including 158,400 square metres of social housing.

The primary townships intended for housing development within western Moscow are Kuntsevo, Mozhaysky, Ramenki, Prospekt Vernadskogo and Fili-Davydkovo where new residential buildings are to substitute the dilapidated five-storey homes.

Besides, the builders plan to commission 12 kindergartens, 4 recreation complexes and a fitness centre in the district this year.
