OREANDA-NEWS. March 25, 2009. The agreement signed in Japan between Ukreximbank and NEXI company will give chance to draw into Ukraine USD 0.5 bn of Japanese investments. The head of board of Ukreximbank Viktor Kapustin announced after the ceremony of signing the Memorandum.

“For the first time with Japanese financial organizations was fixed a possibility to realize large-scale projects and to receive huge investments under them,” Viktor Kapustin stressed.

According to the head of Ukreximbank board, the signed Memorandum bears general character but Ukraine has received a possibility to develop it by means of signing concrete agreements. In particular, as V.Kapustin put it, it concerns projects in the area of energy saving, for instance modernization of thermoelectric power stations.
