OREANDA-NEWS. On 30 March 2009 was announced, that a large car park was opened at the interchange on the third ring road near Tulskaya station of the Moscow metro.

“New parking for 401 vehicles was opened on 19 Bolshaya Tulskaya Street,” a source from City Hall said.

The official believes that an opening of the new car park will make the surrounding roads considerably less busy.

The cost of using a lot in the parking facility is 44 roubles (~USD 1.3) per hour and 220 roubles (~USD 6.6) per day. However, residents of the nearby houses are able to leave their vehicles for 6,000 roubles (~USD 182) per month.

The car park is equipped with an up-to-date car wash.

The source emphasized that the parking was built at the expense of Moscow’s budget funds but at that time City Hall didn’t allocate money to run it.

“The current prices enable the car park be repaying and require no additional means,” the official concluded.
