OREANDA-NEWS. On 30 March 2009 was announced, that a park of fragrance, purling brook, spring and silence is to be developed within the Chinese business centre Park Huamin which is under construction in northeastern Moscow.

“The Chinese park and landscape ensemble meeting the basic principles of the ancient Chinese philosophy is to be laid out on 8.2 hectares occupied by the centre. The park will be divided into several sections - fragrance, silence, purling brook, stones, spring and autumn colours,” a source from City Hall said.

According to the official, the recreation complex will become a zest of Moscow. It was designed taking into account the change of seasons and the climate of Moscow.

A reception office will be raised in the centre of the park. All of structures to be built within it won’t be higher than 2-3 storeys to avoid the overload of the flood plain of the Yauza river flowing through Botanic Garden nature conservation zone.

The Chinese business centre will contain a shopping and entertainment complex, five-star hotel, offices, fitness centres, spas and restaurants. The overall coast of the project is estimated to be USD 450-500 million. The centre is scheduled to be commissioned in late 2011 or early 2012.

“Park Huamin is currently at the stage of full-scale designing. The construction work has been initiated. A part of the Chinese landscape park has been already erected as well as a monument to the ancient Chinese philosopher Confucius,” the source added.
