OREANDA-NEWS. On 30 March 2009 was announced, that Pava chose the best company flour mill according to the operational results in 2008. To recap, the structure of the largest grain processor East of Urals includes Rebrikha and Mikhailovsky mills in the Altay Territory and Achinsk mill in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

A detailed analysis of mills operations was carried out in order to determine the winner in 2008. Specialists assessed various parameters – not only management quality, increase of production volume and work of sales departments but also corporate culture, participation of the employees in sports events held by the company as well as local districts.

Eventually, Mikhailovsky mill was acknowledged the undisputed leader subsequent to the results of 2008.

In 2008 the mill boosted production volumes by 31% against 2007 figure. The output of semolina, famous for its quality all over the country and widely popular with Russian customers, rose by 38.7%, and as the brisk start of 2009 shows it is far from the limit.

Consumer-size products output increased by 55.2%. The Sales Department systematically enlarged the client base throughout the year which enabled a significant increase in sales.

Besides, employees of the mill actively take part and lead in PAVA’s corporate competitions as well as local and regional Olympics.

The contest between the mills has become a company tradition for PAVA, and the winner annually receives a memorable trophy. In 2009, the company started monthly competitions between the mills where the award is not only a prestigious prize but also a money bonus.
