OREANDA-NEWS. On March 27, 2009 Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan (Almaty), a company listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided KASE with a press release, reported the press-centre of KASE:

Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan informs Almaty residents beginning March 27, 2009 the bank resumed to receive payments for utilities services on receipts of Alseco JSC. Service tariffs remained the same.

Due to disputes between Halyk Bank and Alseco beginning February 17, 2009 the bank suspended receipt of payments for utilities services by receipts of the company.

Taking into consideration inconveniences encountered by bank clients paying for utilities services and many requests on possibility the bank receives such payments, Halyk Bank decided to resume receipt of payments for utilities  services and continue further negotiations with Alseco JSC to settle the disputes.

The Bank considered client loyalty is more important than interests of two companies. The Bank has always worked and works for the good of its clients.

Halyk Bank is the main partner of the state implementing social projects for population, in particular, transferring and paying pensions and allowances, salaries, receipt of tax, utilities and other payments.
