OREANDA-NEWS. On 30 March 2009 was announced, that Pava, the largest grain processor East of Urals, became the leader among Russian exporters of flour to Uzbekistan in 2008. Overall, PAVA shipped to the Republic about 16,000 tonnes of flour produced by the company which makes up over 26% of the total Russian exports to Uzbekistan, according to preliminary estimates. The other 74% were accounted for by more than 30 Russian companies.

The first shipment of PAVA flour to the Uzbekistan Republic was made in 2007. Although the partners had no prior experience of co-operation, all contracts were flawlessly fulfilled. The Uzbek companies highly rated the quality of flour and execution of the contract terms, thus the Altay grain processor won the reputation as a reliable partner. Due to this fact, PAVA’s client base in Uzbekistan increased a number of times and the company secured strong position on the Uzbek flour market.
