OREANDA-NEWS. On 31 March 2009 was announced, that chairmen of the management boards of JSC BTA Bank and JSC Kazakhstan Broadcasting Corporation Anwar Saidenov and Zhanai Omarov, respectively, signed a memorandum today with effective implementation of the government’s economic stabilisation programme as the main goal.

The two signers pledged to join forces and work toward providing coverage to various issues relevant to the public and, also, fostering legal culture in the society.

The cooperation is to include joint TV projects to be announced throughout the entire media network controlled by KBC, including the Kazakhstan TV channel, 14 regional TV stations, Kazakh Radio and the Shalkar and Astana radio stations.

“As a systemic financial institution and principal economic stabilisation programme intermediary, BTA Bank is actively involved in public life. Cooperation with KBC will present an opportunity to raise the public’s awareness of what happens in the country through this major TV outlet”, pointed Mr. Saidenov at the signing ceremony.
