In the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan the constant attention is given to introduction in process of production of radio and TV programs modern information, computer and mediatechnologies providing high quality and an art level of programs, reported the press-centre of National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan.

In this connection special value gets realization of cooperation with leading foreign broadcasting companies, a mutual exchange of experience, and also participation in the international forums, symposiums and seminars concerning sphere.

In particular, one of similar actions became to the end in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) the international symposium on a theme "Perspectives of broadcasting in format HD on radio and TV".

On symposium reports on the subject matters connected with broadcasting in format HD on radio and TV have been heard; the exchange of opinions concerning to successes and lacks during transition of broadcasters to digital systems, as well as actual problems took place; experience of several stations of Australia in area of digital broadcasting has been studied.

Within the framework of symposium was organized the exhibition by the leading companies of the world producing teleradio equipment. At the exhibition the television technics, and also production of the firms producing the software and rendering services to the enterprises which broadcast TV and radio production by means of mediatechnologies has been presented.

On the symposium has taken part more than 240 representatives of the state and private teleradio channels which are broadcasting in region of Asia, Pacific ocean and Australia. The main sponsors of symposium organized by Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) have acted company “ BROADCAST Australia ”, firms " SONY " and “HARRIS”.

The representative of National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, chief engineer of the state unitary enterprise "Respublika teleradiomarkazi" N.Murodov has taken part in the international symposium.

Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) has been organized on July, 1st, 1964. Now 103 organizations from 53 countries of the world are members of ABU. National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan has entered this organization in 2004.
