OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 April 2009 was Rambler Media Ltd. (“Rambler” or the “Company”), which operates one of Russia’s most popular internet brands, announced its intention to appoint Mrs. Olga Turischeva as Rambler’s new Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”). Mrs. Turischeva has accepted to take on this role and it is expected that she will become Rambler’s new CEO upon completion of customary administrative procedures. Mrs. Turischeva will also become an Executive Director on Rambler’s Board. The Company expects to finalize Olga’s appointment as CEO and Executive Director during April, at which time a further announcement will be made.

Olga Turischeva joins Rambler from the VimpelCom Group, one of Russia’s largest telecommunications operators listed on the New York Stock Exchange, where she served as Marketing Director from 2001 to 2007 and contributed to the successful relaunch of the “Beeline” brand in 2005. In July 2007, VimpelCom appointed Olga as Director for Venture Business Development. Prior to VimpelCom, Olga was Marketing Director at CJSC “BSH Consumer Electronics”, the Russian Division of Bosch und Siemens Hausgeraete. Previously, Olga held the positions of Brand Manager, Sales and Marketing Coordinator in Eastern Europe and Marketing Manager in the CIS and Baltic countries at Merloni Elettrodomestici S.p.A.’s representative office between 1995 and 1998. Olga is a renowned marketing professional in Russia and has won multiple marketing awards including from ‘The Company’ business magazine in 2002 and the ‘Secret Firmy’ business magazine in 2006.

 Olga Turischeva graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University with degree in economics in 1994. She is also a graduate of Institute for USA and Canadian Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
