On 06 April 2009 was announced, that Alexander Valerievich Yest graduated from Ivanov State Energy University with the major area of study ‘grid systems and networks’ and was qualified as ‘electrical engineer’. He started his career in the energy industry as an electric mechanic worker in Kostroma Electric Networks.

In 2001 Alexander Valerievich changed his workplace to Belgorod Electric Networks Zone, Belgorodenergo Southern Electric Networks, as Deputy Chief Engineer. Within the power company he went up the career ladder from Deputy General Director for Technical Issues to Chief Engineer of Belgorodenergo, JSC.

Before his present appointment Alexander Valerievich worked as Director for Regional Development of the Management Body of the First Deputy General Director, IDGC of Centre, JSC.

In 2002 Alexadner Yest studied in LINK International Management Institute with the major area of study ‘management’.

In 2003 he finished courses of preparation of managing personnel in Higher School of Economy state university.

Alexander Yest changed on the post his predecessor Sergei Yolkin who decided to change his workplace to a new one.
