OREANDA-NEWS. April 03, 2009. Sberbank of Russia (RTS: SBER, MICEX: SBER03)  would like to report that the Supervisory Board of the Bank has adopted the following resolutions during a meeting, reported the press-centre of Sberbank:

The Supervisory Board has reviewed and approved the preliminary results of Sberbank for 2008  and approved the Bank’s 2009 business plan targets for  the period up to 2011.

The Supervisory Board has approved Sberbank’s measures on cost optimization and the formation of a new organizational staff structure.

The Supervisory Board has approved changes in the branch network of Sberbank by:

3.1. An approved resolution to open a branch in the Chechen Republic;

3.2. An approved decision to establish the Moscow Regional Bank, which will comprise 13 Moscow Sberbank head branches for the purpose of reducing administrative costs, optimizing certain management  functions and excluding duplication of functions, as well as increasing the general level of all business processes and customers service quality in Moscow.
