OREANDA-NEWS. April 13, 2009. The International Insurance Company (IIC) that has marked seven-year anniversary recently reports of positive results of activity in the first quarter of the year despite the crisis at world markets, reported the press-centre of IBA.

IIC informs that according to its preliminary data, premiums for the first quarter totaled around AZN 3 million.

“Taking into account that about a month of the first quarter was “lost” because of different holidays, the received result is not a bad indicator,” the Company says.

In 2008 IIC premiums reached AZN 15.44 million and paid compensations AZN 4.07 million. Company’s charter capital for AZN 8.8 million was paid by the country’s largest bank – International Bank of Azerbaijan.
