OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2009. The integrated management system of OAO KAMAZ-Metallurgy is being audited for conformity with ISO standards.

The representatives of Russian Register Certification Association (Saint-Petersburg) and TUV (German Technical Inspection Association) will inspect the main production processes of the enterprise for compliance with ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards. The commission will pay special attention to iron, steel casting and other special types of casting. Marketing and purchase systems, work of subdivisions responsible for repair of equipment and production planning will be inspected. For the first time labour protection and occupational safety systems are in the sphere of the auditors’ interests.

It should be recalled that the foundry received the first quality certificate in 2000. Four years later the foundry and the forge plant were certified being included in OAO KAMAZ-Metallurgy. The last document of conformity with the quality standards was signed in 2007.
