OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 April 2009 was announced, that Belarus’ GDP is expected to grow 2% on the year in the first three months of the year, Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky told reporters in Minsk.

“It is a very good indicator amid the crisis for an economy that has limited resources and a high manufacturing potential.

Sidorsky said Belarus was showing more stability than neighboring economies, especially Russia and Ukraine.
