OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 April 2009 was announced, that on March 17-20, PAVA specialists took part in the Siberian forum of bakers supported by the Administration of the Krasnoyarsk Territory – the host of the event, Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights and the national certification bodies. The forum was an excellent networking platform for industry professionals, who raised such issues as increasing production of baked goods, especially products of healthy nutrition and making them affordable for all income groups.

PAVA presented its innovative product, protein-rich flour Zhitnitsa, which satisfies all requirements of the present-day market, discussed during the forum. This is a unique offer for customers from all over the world – the flour contains a great amount of minerals and vitamins and is marketed in the moderate price category.

The highlights of the presentation included comparison of the product attributes with standard GOST flour grades and certain technology nuances. Unique milling method developed by PAVA creates a product higher in beneficial components even than the wholemeal flour. Moreover, its fraction is similar to 1st grade – consequently, Zhitnitsa-based products could be included in regular diet.

It was stressed in the report that new flour from PAVA poses a number of economic advantages to bakers: it enables low-cost diversification of assortment and helps maintain business profitability in difficult environment.

Experts from France and Finland who participated in the forum made very positive comments on PAVA’s course of development, which corresponds to modern European tendencies. In particular, they noted relevance of the company plans to manufacture flour mixes with added cereal ingredients.

Within the scope of the forum the VI annual competition “Siberian Baker 2009” was held. This is a major event, promoting best baking technologies and judged by an international panel, including specialists from Italy and Germany. PAVA acted as a sponsor of the contest, granting financial support for the award ceremony.
