OREANDA-NEWS. On April 15, 2009 the Federal Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region upheld the rulings of the 9th Arbitration Appeal Court and the Moscow Arbitration Court which had dismissed the claim of "Rus'-Alco" Ltd. on invalidating the FAS Russia's decision that the company had violated the antimonopoly legislation, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

On 9th June 2008, FAS Russia found that the actions undertaken by "Rus'-Alco" Ltd. to commercialize the "Medovukha" vodka unlawfully using combined trade marks under Certificates Nos. 334711, 334712, 334713, 334809, 335595 and 335596 (category 33 of the International Classification of Goods and Services) violated Clause 4 Part 1 Article 14 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition". The Antimonopoly Service issued a determination to the company requesting it to stop anticompetitive actions.

"Rus'-Alco" Ltd. disagreed with the decisions made by the Antimonopoly Service and filed a lawsuit. The Courts dismissed the company's claim.
