OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2009. Georgy Turlov, Chief Engineer of IDGC of North-West, is at the head of the delegation of electric grid complex representatives.

The seminar called “New technologies and innovations” will take place in Riga (Latvia) on April 16-17. The program consists of the visits to Power Company Yauda, Arcus Electronica Company and JSC Latvenergo. 

The heads of IDGC of North-West and the Company’s branches such as Arkhenergo, Komienergo, Novgorodenergo, and Pskovenergo will participate in the seminar. Georgy Turlov, the Chief Engineer of IDGC of North West, is at the head of the delegation.

The organizer of the visit is Yauda Power Company which is one of the largest producers of power materials and gadgets in the Baltic region. 

Since 1961 Yauda Power Company has been producing the metal structures and gadgets, compact transformer substations, low and medium voltage gadgets. It actively cooperates with Russian power grid companies concerning the issues of equipment supply and services. Several years ago the representatives of Yauda Power Company visited the Pskov Region where they considered the plans concerning the creation of the enterprise which main aim is the production of spare parts in the Russian Territory.
