OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2009. Sergey Kogoghin, Director General of KAMAZ Inc., visited Stavropol where he met with Valery Gaevsky, Stavropol Territory Governor, participated in a shareholders’ meeting at OAO Avtopritsep-KAMAZ, heard a crisis-management program of the Stavropol enterprise and visited a KAMAZ auto center.

At the meeting with the governor of Stavropol Territory discussed were issues of development of cooperation between the company and the krai. In particular, negotiations were held concerning the use of KAMAZ vehicles by Stavropol municipal services.

They summed up the results of 2008, confirmed the results of financial and economical activities of the enterprise and elected a new board of directors at the shareholders’ meeting of OAO Avtopritsep-KAMAZ. Sergey Kogoghin spoke to the shareholders and told about the measures taken by the KAMAZ management to activate sales of automotive equipment and trailers under conditions of the financial and economic crisis. He noted that OAO Avtopritsep-KAMAZ was provided with work for several months due to the order made by Rosagroleasing State Company. The crisis-management program of the Stavropol enterprise is oriented to overcoming the economic recession with minimum losses and arrangement of conditions for further development.

OAO Avtopritsep-KAMAZ associated company located in Stavropol specializes in production of automotive trailer equipment: two- and three-axle drop-side trailers (up to 16 t payload), dumping trailers (up to 12 t payload), semitrailers (14.5 – 32 t payload), dumping semitrailers (up to 25 t payload), container carrier semitrailers (24 – 33 t payload). The plant capacity enables to produce 9.48 thousand trailers and semitrailers a year.
