OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2009. The Russian Bank for Development is absolutely ready to enlarge funding under SME lending support program in the Russian Federation. It was reported by Nadezhda Martynova, Deputy Chairman of the Board of RBD at IV annual conference "SME Lending" organized by "Expert RA", reported the press-centre of RBD.

According to Mrs. Martynova "all internal procedures for significant increase of SME lending are elaborately worked out and approved by the Supervisory Board of the bank". "As soon as we receive 30 billion rubles allocated according to the RF Government plans of SME lending support, we shall  immediately initiate SME funding through the counter-party banks", N. Martynova said.

Besides she accentuated on the RBD’s specific measures to be taken within the framework of this work. Thus the priority shall be given to SMEs involved in production and innovations.  RBD will intensify development of the SME infrastructure support entities and introduce new bank products such as refunding and SME support through leasing mechanisms. "It is very important for us to provide resources to SME operating in every Russian region, that’s why geographical expansion is our strategic mission", she pointed out.

Anatoly Aksakov, President of the Association Russia, member of the State Duma; Mikhail Mamuta, President of the Russian Micro-finance Center; Mikhail Vyshegorogzev, Head of SME Lending and Development Department of Moscow and representatives of small and middle enterprises took part in the conference.
