OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2009. Kuban Ashyrkulov began working as executive director of the International Business Council. He was born in the Grigorievka village in the Issyk-Kul Oblast in 1974, reported the press-centre of International Business Council. 

In 1996, graduated from the Kyrgyz State Technical University (mechanical engineer); in 1998, received a degree of Master of Business Administration 

from the Academy of Management under the President of Kyrgyz Republic.

Prior to April 2009, worked for the OSCE Office in Bishkek. Prior to December 2006 , worked at the Helvetas - a Swiss Association for International Cooperation in Kyrgyzstan, managed programs on MSE development. 

Experienced in project planning, implementation, evaluation and monitoring. Took part in developing a number of projects providing consultancy service to entrepreneurs in rural ecotourism and social development sector. Provided training in management, marketing and training for trainers.

Took part in the world summits, conferences and training courses on ecotourism, project planning and risk management.

Has good command of the Kyrgyz, Russian and English languages.
