OREANDA-NEWS. On 28 April 2009 JSC SITRONICS (‘SITRONICS’ or ‘the Group’) (LSE: SITR), a leading provider of telecommunications, information technology and microelectronic solutions in Russia and the CIS, with a growing presence in other EEMEA emerging markets, announced that it has signed two contracts with Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd. (“Sistema Shyam TeleServices” or “Shyam”), (previously known as Shyam Telelink Limited), the pan-Indian telecommunications operator, to deliver, deploy and service its CRM and Billing System. The contracts amount to USD  64.2 million in total, and are expected to be implemented within three years.

The project will be implemented in three stages, in direct correlation with Sistema Shyam TeleServices’ subscriber base growth. The deployment of the new system based on the FORIS solution will enable the Indian operator to service its fast-growing subscriber base and streamline its internal business processes.

The FORIS solutions are currently applied for the networks of 25 telecommunications operators in a number of countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic, Germany, covering over 100 million customers.
