OREANDA-NEWS. May 4, 2009. Power Machines have manufactured and supplied ahead of contract schedule the first batch of spare parts for the Ramin thermal power plant in Iran.

These spare parts are to be used to overhaul a TVV-320-2T3 turbogenerator (unit #3). The customer is BGK-Technical Company (Iran). The final delivery of the spare parts is scheduled for August this year.

Between 1976 – 1993 the Company supplied six hydrogen and water cooled TVV-320 type turbogenerators each having a capacity of 320 MW and six steam turbines each having a capacity of 300 MW complete with condensers for the Ramin thermal power plant. Currently OJSC Power Machines is fabricating hardware for spare blading sets, runner, deflector and nine sets of blades for the turbine overhauls.

The Ramin is a thermal power plant being built since the mid 70th as per a Soviet-Iranian intergovernmental arrangement. Its construction was halted because of the war with Iraq and the erection of the last (sixth) unit held under the supervision of Power machines specialists was only completed in 2002.
