On 07 May 2009 was announced, that the Regular General Meeting of the JSC Swedbank in Ukraine was held on April, 22, 2009, where, in particular, were studied issues about the approval of annual results of the JSC Swedbank in Ukraine activity (including its subsidiaries), reports and conclusions of the external auditors, division of profits 2008 of the JSC Swedbank in Ukraine, there were also approved Reports of the Board, Supervisory Board and Audit Commission activities. The shareholders approved net (balance) profit of the JSC Swedbank in Ukraine according to the results of the work in 2008 financial year in amount of UAH 32657847.68. With intent to reinforce the capital and protect depositors' interests, it was decided on the Shareholders Meeting not to pay out dividends for this period, but to direct all the profit of 2008 to the growth of the Reserve Fund of the JSC Swedbank in Ukraine.

In addition, the shareholders of the bank approved changes in the membership of the Supervisory Board of the JSC Swedbank in Ukraine with the term of authority of 3 (three) years since the decision is made by the General Shareholders’ Meeting.

Thereby Annika Wijkstrom was elected as a Head of the Supervisory Board of the JSC Swedbank in Ukraine.
