OREANDA-NEWS. On 12 May 2009 was announced, that in April 2009 PAVA started to manufacture macaroni semolina on Achinsk mill (the Krasnoyarsk Territory). The decision to launch this production was very relevant to the current market situation. According to the market survey, both output and sales of pasta products have grown several times. Macaroni semolina is a perfect raw material for manufacturing high-quality pasta.

In April, PAVA started to ship consumer-size flour “Altay-Batyushka”, along with bulk flour, to the north of the Tyumen region - the distant city of Salekhard.

In mid-April, PAVA President Andrey Igoshin took part in the round-table discussion “Implementation of the project “Complex development of the Altay Priobye – goals, challenges and solutions”. Participants of the event were given another presentation of the grain fractionation project. Mr Igoshin spoke on the development prospects of advanced wheat processing and business areas of the new enterprise.

Last month, the largest Russian grain processor East of Urals, carried out a series of promo actions benefiting PAVA’s partners from various Russian regions. At their retail shops the company products were sold at discounted prices and special merchandising layouts were used. Promotion of PAVA products also targeted small-scale wholesale warehouses where buyers of consumer-size flour were given one additional package for free if the purchase included several items.

Besides, in-end April PAVA presented golden certificates to the winners of the company’s Easter promo-action, and during last week granted unprecedented discounts on high-, first-grade and Zhitnitsa flour to the partners who were able to meet special terms of the campaign.
