OREANDA-NEWS. May 19, 2009. The insurance company ROSNO insured liability of organizers of the third annual Car & Bike Parade 2009, held in Moscow on the Vasilyevsky Slope and in the Russian Exhibition Centre. Also, all of the parade participants were insured against accidents for the duration of the parade, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

This parade was dedicated to road safety and technical education of the young people, and it was held under the auspices of the state-funded target program "For Better Traffic Safety". The event was organized by the Russian Bikers Union "VETERANSmc". The project is supported by the Moscow City Administration, RF Ministry of Internal Affairs, RF Ministry of Culture, Education and Sports, GUVD, MOB and the Moscow Road Police Department. In 2009, the parade gathered about 500 participants and over 10,000 spectators.

ROSNO shares all of these values: for many years, we have been promoting road safety and advocating the European standards of responsible and courteous driving. Therefore, we were pleased to accept the offer to become an official insurer of the Car & Bike Parade", noted Mr. Hannes S. Chopra, CEO of OJSC IC ROSNO, in his opening speech.

The parade organizers’ liability was insured with ROSNO for the entire duration of the event. The insurance amount is 15 million roubles. The insurance compensation limit per one insured accident is 5 million roubles. In addition, each of the parade participants was provided accident insurance coverage for 150 thousand roubles.
