OREANDA-NEWS. On 21 May 2009 was announced, that PAVA - the largest Russian grain processor East of Urals – made a first shipment of flour to a manufacturer of baked and confectionery goods in South Korea. The contract was signed after the South-Korean delegation had visited Achinsk mill of the PAVA company in mid-April of the current year.

The trial consignment amounts to 600 tonnes of high-grade flour; its first portion was shipped to the new partner in April, the second one – in the beginning of May. “The South-Korean company had very strict requirements as regards the quality and package of the product”, says Angela Kiseleva, PAVA Commercial Director. “The trial shipment is packed in 20 kg polypropylene bags, however in case of further co-operation we plan to use paper bags with product description on a sticker”.

The cargo will be transshipped at a sea port on the Far East, and the transportation will take one day. “This is our first direct shipment to South Korea. Developing the route, we offered our partner several variants, with different sea-ports. Finally, the shortest way was chosen, whereby flour will arrive at a small South-Korean port Sokcho”, said Angela Kiseleva.

This is not the first time when PAVA shows accurate fulfillment of strict individual requirements in co-operation with overseas partners. Production capacities of all PAVA’s mills allow to manufacture flour according to customized orders – regulating gluten, whiteness, fineness of grinding, vitamin & mineral fortification, etc.
