OREANDA-NEWS. May 22, 2009. ROSNO has been a general partner of the first Russian media festival "Safe Territory" intended to arouse interest towards safety issues among the general public, reported the Official website ROSNO.

The festival, opened today in the movie theatre Illusion, features documentaries and TV series, video works and internet projects. Accepted for review are the projects made by amateurs and professionals alike. Major festival organizers are the media group Hranitel and the Russian Union of Private Security Employees.

The insurance company ROSNO has acted as general partner of the festival and founded a special prize for the winner in the nomination "Safe Roads". Mr. Alexander Gulchenko, Deputy CEO of ROSNO, has been included in the festival’s Board of Trustees.

ROSNO’s participation in this event is not occasional. The company focuses on mitigating risks, raising the level of client protection and strengthening the clients’ confidence in the future. For many years, ROSNO has been addressing road safety issues and promoting the European standards of responsible and courteous driving by supporting the relevant projects, such as Car & Bike Parade 2009, events jointly held with the Road Police ("Little Passenger", "With Flicker for Vacations"), etc.

An immense contribution to the public safety issues is made by ROSNO’s shareholder — the international financial conglomerate Allianz SE. In Germany, there is a specifically designed Allianz Center for Technologies, which regularly conducts a scrupulous multifactor analysis of all possible driving-related risks and performs crash tests, the results whereof are taken into account in car production.
