OREANDA-NEWS. Since mid-May 2009, JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines has been operating regular A319 flights Moscow – Eilat – Moscow, once a week. With launching of the new Israel line, Aeroflot has enhanced its route network to 95 destinations in 48 countries, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

The flights are performed to the Ovda airport located 60 km from Eilat. Ticket booking & sales for the destination is made at all Aeroflot’s ticket offices and the website www.aeroflot.ru

Flight SU 501 departs from Moscow (Sheremetyevo-1, С) on Sundays (except May 31) at 12:40, and arrives in Eilat (Ovda) at 16:00 local time.

Flight SU 502 departs from Eilat (Ovda) on Sundays at 17:10, and arrives in Moscow (Sheremetyevo-1, С) at 22:35 local time.

Establishing a regular flight connection between Eilat and Moscow will bring this popular and fast growing holiday resort closer to the people from Moscow and other Russian cities.

The new flight will enhance opportunities for citizens of both countries, which is even more timely considering the visa abolishment between Russia and Israel. Furthermore, Aeroflot’s membership in the SkyTeam alliance provides its passengers with access to the alliance’s route network comprising 905 destinations in 169 countries. Convenient interlining and joint bonus programs for Aeroflot passengers are valid on all flights operated by SkyTeam members across the globe.
