OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2009. KAMAZ conducted a contest for employees of the company’s HR departments under the name “Professionals’ Games”.

It was timed to the All-Russian professional holiday of HR specialists which was celebrated on 24 May. “HR specialists’ professional development and strengthening a corporate and team spirit” was the aim of KAMAZ Corporate University, the organizer of the contest.

Every department of the company had one or several teams consisting of 6 people to participate in the contest. The teams presented various personnel management activities – hiring, training and development, motivation and salaries, social development. Educational institutions – partners of KAMAZ Inc. in the establishment of the Mechanical Engineering Educational Cluster – also sent their teams.

Igor Smurov, HR Director of OAO KAMAZ-Metallurgy, and Ramil Kharisov, Director of Organization Department of KAMAZ Trade-Union Committee, greeted the contestants at the opening ceremony. Then the representatives of Mainstream-Kazan Consulting Company delivered a lecture on “Rating by Personnel Selection”. The HR-experts’ contest itself included presentation of the teams, a home task, a competitive task (preparing advertising and PR-materials related to the given topic), etc.

The “Kadroboliki” team representing the block of KAMAZ Deputy Director General of Human Resource Management and Organizational Development (HRM&OD) became the winner of “Professionalыэ Games”. The teams “HRaniteli” from KAMAZ-Metallurgy and “Partner” from the block of Deputy Director General of HRM&OD were among the top three “most professional” teams according to the results of the contest.
