OREANDA-NEWS. May 28, 2009. B&N Bank has been ranked 12th in a Recognition Rating of Russian banks prepared by National Agency for Financial Studies (NAFI). According to the Agency’s research, financial crisis has positive influence on expertise and consumer practice of Russians in financial sector, reported the press-centre of B&N Bank.

The best reputation was assigned to the banks involved in state support programs or rehabilitation procedure for problem banks. Recognition ratio of B&N Bank has grown from 10% in October 2008 to 25% in April 2009.

Population survey was held in October 2008 and on 25-26 April 2009 in the framework of the project "Public confidence in financial institutions. Attractiveness of financial instruments: indices and ratings". Thus, the survey covered 1600 habitants of 140 localities in 42 Russian regions and republics.
