OREANDA-NEWS. On 01 June 2009 was announced, that Kazakhstan will have to conduct forced industrialization in terms of higher prices to energy. The tasks set by the president of Kazakhstan need corresponding development of energy system. According to the president it is necessary to close the current and prospective demand of the state in energy. Economy energy output by 2015 must be lowered up to 10%.

According to the minister of energy and mineral resources S. Mynbaev, by 2012 energy supply will be at the level of 2008. At that time the president has not yet announced  5-year plan of forced industrialization and Government plans on modernization of current and construction of new electrical plants quite corresponded to the economy growth rates.

The president pointed out new orienting points that need further build-up of capacity of energy system. In constructional industry by 2015 they must satisfy more than 80% of market demands at the expense of domestic production.  Today domestic companies produce less than 50% of construction materials. Gross Value Added of the constructional complex will be increased up to 76%.  Gross Value Added of fuel and energy complex – up to 30%. Production volume of metallurgy industry must be doubled.

As for the task of the president on the reduction of economy energy output, we can say that the task is solved in one direction- at system level.

It is doubtless that the trend of energy saving is relevant for realization of plans of forced industrialization of the state.
