OREANDA-NEWS. On 01 June 2009 was announced, that the first corporate MBA programme organised by the mineral and chemical company, EuroChem, for its employees in order to enhance their administrative knowledge and skills concluded on 22 May.

Upon completion of the courses, 25 of EuroChem’s top and middle managers received state diplomas through the Academy of National Economy’s MBA programme certified by the Russian government and Kingston University.

The courses lasted two years and involved a thorough study of the Russian economy, politics and culture, as well as proven western models and their application to the Russian reality. Students had the opportunity to apply their knowledge to handle certain actual tasks. The education programme consisted of 12 parts of the basic course, studying additional literature on management, finance, strategy, and project implementation. As part of their coursework, students undertook internships at Kensington University, during which they learned some advanced methods of business management at British enterprises, and visited master classes given by the best teachers in the renowned business school.

By implementing the corporate MBA programme, EuroChem helps raise successful and socially responsible Russian administrators who have strategic vision, aim for personal growth and make decisions that define and develop the company’s values.
