OREANDA-NEWS. June 04, 2009. The balance currency of Yekaterinburg Branch of the Bank of Moscow increased by 65% in 2008 and reached RUR13.5 bln. as of January 1, 2009.

The overall loan portfolio of the branch reached RUR7.2 bln. as of January 1, 2009 having grown by 19% in 2008. F.E. Dzerzhinsky Uralvagonzavod Production Association Federal State Unitary Enterprise, Y.S. Yalamov Uralsky Optical and Mechanical Plant Production Association Federal State Unitary Enterprise, JSC "Ural Mining and Metallurgic Company", JSC "Pervouralsky Modern Tube Manufacturing Plant", CJSC "Uralsevergaz — Independent Gas Company", JSC "Umekon", branches of CJSC "Foratek" and CJSC "Atomstroikompleks" are the major clients of Yekaterinburg Branch of the Bank of Moscow.

Over 300 organizations and enterprises of the region transfer their employees’ wages to the cards issued by the Bank of Moscow. The number of the issued plastic cards exceeds 124 thousand.

Yekaterinburg Branch includes 17 additional offices in Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Tagil, Verkhniaya Salda, Pervouralsk and Chelyabinsk, and a wide network of cash terminals. Today there are 78 cash terminals in operation.

Yekaterinburg Branch of the Bank of Moscow actively cooperates with the Government of Sverdlovsk Region, participates in the programs aimed at the development of the region — it finances the region’s highway construction and contracts implemented within the framework of the Health national program. The Bank of Moscow is an active member of the Union of Defense Enterprises of Sverdlovsk Region and the Investment Support Fund under the Governor of Sverdlovsk Region; it has repeatedly supported the international Rosvooruzheniye ("The Russian Armament") exhibition.
