OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 June was announced, that Ukrainian Gov’t relies on successful cooperation with the International Monetary Fund. The Premier of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko imparted during a press conference.

Yulia Tymoshenko explained during a visit of IMF mission to Ukraine in June it is planned to reconsider and adjust the cooperation program between Ukraine and the Fund: “I rely upon successful cooperation and obtaining the third and fourth tranches”.

The Head of Government emphasized the IMF tranches can be directed into reserve funds of the National Bank of Ukraine, which will ensure stabilization of the currency market, and into the State Budget, notably for financing expenses of the Stabilization Fund.

In his turn, Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund to Ukraine Max Alier emphasized that in the course of the visit of IMF mission to Ukraine effectiveness of implementation of the cooperation program will undergo evaluation process. Max Alier added on receiving positive results Ukraine will obtain the third tranche from the IMF in the amount of USD 3.2 billion and the fourth – USD 3.8 billion.
