OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 June 2009 was announced, that Russian Unimilk mulls investing in two dairy companies of Belarus – Pruzhany dairy, in the Brest Region, and Shklov dairy, in the Mogilev Region, Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Bambiza told the parliament.

“In Pruzhany, the Russian company plans to establish three lines to make whole milk products,” the vice-premier said.

The dairy in Shklov considers increasing processing capacities, because it cannot process the entire volume of milk produced in the region, Bambiza said.

Russian Vimm-Bill-Dann is also interested in Belarusian dairies, he said.

“We are ready to work with all investors that will be willing to invest in our companies. These must be specific investment projects, aiming at expanding the range of goods we will offer and facilitating competitiveness. Besides, we need to organize sales of our products,” Bambiza said.

He went on to say that there were no concrete agreements yet.
