OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 June 2009 was announced, that Belarus’ state-owned produced of farm machines Gomselmash produced 607.245 billion Belarusian rubles (Br)’ worth of commodities in January-April 2009, up 47.7% year-on-year, a source at the production told.

The parent company increased production 50.3% to 434.656 billion rubles in monetary terms.

Exports decreased 12.2% to U.S. USD 108.866 million.

The company plans to triple supplies to the CIS in 2009 to USD 20 million. Also in 2009, Gomselmash is expected to supply 20 КЗС-812 /210 grain harvesters in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bulgaria.

Gomselmash reported a 35.3% increase in sales proceeds in 2008 compared to 2007 to 1.772 trillion rubles.

Gomselmash produced 1.177 trillion rubles’ worth of machinery in January-December 2008, up 35.3% year-on-year. Exports doubled to USD 27 million.

Gomselmash was established in 1978. The company is one of the largest producers of agricultural machinery in the CIS and Europe.
