OREANDA-NEWS. Оn June 19, 2009 at 12.20 ( the time is local) Boeing- 737/300 was landed at the National airport Minsk. It is the tenth aircraft of Belavia acquired from foreign manufacturers, the seventh type of Boeing- 737 and the third in three- hundredth modification. At present Belavia operates the aircraft of foreign and Russian manufacturers: four Boeing- 737/500, three Boeing- 737/300, three CRJ- 100/200 LR, four aircraft TU- 154 M and one TU- 134.

Belavia has acquired one more aircraft from the International Lease Finance Corporation ( ILFC, the USA). Air China was the previous aircraft operator. According to the specialists the aircraft is in good condition, is equipped with 148 seats with the possibility of mobile redesigning in a complete economy or business/ economy class, meets all noise and emission requirements, is equipped with all necessary navigation equipment and can operate the flights without any limitations on all the routs of Belavia.

After passing all formalities and after obtaining the permission from the foreign aviation authorities to operate the flights on the territory of their countries, Boeing – 737/300 will be operated on the most loaded regular and charter flights.

Air fleet modernization is carrying out within the framework of the Government Programe for the development of civil aviation. During the first half of 2009 Belavia has introduced 3 modern aircraft ( 1 Boeing- 737/300 and 2 CRJ-200 LR). The acquiring of the new one Boeing- 737/300 and the commencement of its operating confirms the fulfillment of the fleet modernization program for the current year.

Belavia has been operating Boeing since 2003.

The mentioned aircraft allows to increase the flight efficiency on all routes of the airline. Considerable work has been done by Belavia specialists for further more efficient operating of the aircraft in the routes network, flight and technical staff had a full- course training and have good experience in servicing of such equipment.
