OREANDA-NEWS. On June 19, 2009 Taking into account changes on international and domestic money markets AB DnB NORD Bankas, a member of international financial group, has changed individual and corporate customers time deposit rates, reported the press-centre of AB DnB NORD Bankas.

Starting from June 19 AB DnB NORD Bankas for individual customers while placing time deposit in the branch in LTL for 3, 6 or 12 months period will pay 7.30, 8.40 and 9.55 percent of annual interest respectively.

For corporate customers interest rates of term deposits in LTL currency for one-four month term will be higher by 1.70 percentage point in average. For example, interest rate for three month period will be 7.40 percent point.

Interest rates in Euro and USD Dollar remain the same for both individual and corporate customers.

For customers who place term deposits via DnB NORD Internet banking system the bank will pay its customers 0.25 percentage point premium on standard rates so, for example, the annual rates for popular one-year time deposits for individual customers will increase to 8.60 percent.

Deposits of customers held within AB DnB NORD Bankas are secured by the state company “Deposit and Investment Insurance” in accordance with the Law on Insurance of Deposits and Liabilities to Investors of the Republic of Lithuania.
